Fix Me.

This is a poem that I wrote today, with some minor tweaks.

I wish that I could fix me.

I’m broken down and worthless.

And this heart just won’t seem to do.

I’m trying, can’t you see? 

The struggles are so hidden 

And I’m begging you to listen to me.

I’ve come so close, oh so close.

But I’ve turned away with hope 

That maybe something better will come along 

And change who I am.

Change for the better is all I really want.

I have so much baggage and I want to drop it off.

Send it away, send it away.

He tells me that I’m beautiful and he loves me unconditionally.

But when he asks I just can’t explain whats going on with me.

I know he’d take my hand. I know he’d help me through it.

But it’s just so hard to pull another one into my mess that I can’t seem to fix.

Oh, I just want to fix me.

The one I really need to go to is the one I push away. 

I hope he knows I love him and I’m sorry for the way I’ve been acting.

I guess it’s just not me.

I’m on the way to finding out just who I’m supposed to be.

But maybe if I just opened up a little

And tried not to be so hard.

I’ve got a rough exterior and the inside is full of scars. 

If I let the world in on who I think I am

Then maybe I can finally fix me.

3. A character you hate that everyone loves: I don’t hate Peeta at all, but I don’t swoon over him like a lot of other girls.
4: A character you love that everyone hates: Um…I’m not sure. I guess Gale. People are probably pretty upset with him but he’s alright. :)
5: Your favorite fight/battle scene: Katniss Vs. Coin?
6: A scene that made you laugh: Um…when Peeta pops out of the ground and looks like a rock. ((Movie))
7: A scene that made you cry: I didn’t cry, but Rue’s death was very depressing.
8: The character you are most like: I’m going to go with…Peeta. I’m pretty easy-going and I think I would risk getting hurt to help somebody.
9: Your favorite quote: I love the meadow lullaby. But its too long to post. :)
10: Peeta or Gale: Peeta.
11: Something you hate about the series: There wasn’t enough about Peeta and Katniss. Otherwise, it was great.
12: A character you wish hadn’t died: Finnick! <3
13: A character you wish had died: I don’t know.
14: Your favorite tribute (aside from Peeta/Katniss): Rue.

17: The worst death: Finnick Odair’s.

22: Your favorite book of the three: The Hunger Games. It’s what started it all!

25: Your dream cast: I think the cast turned out well. 
26: Your favorite scene in The Hunger Games: Katniss giving the signal after Rue’s death.
